Boarding

The Animal Health Center offers a climate controlled indoor boarding for dogs and cats. Because your pet's cleanliness and comfort are important to us, cages are disinfected regularly, clean blankets are provided, and fresh water every hour. All dogs are walked three times daily in our fenced excercise area. All pets are fed Science Diet Maintenance or Puppy/Kitten food. If your pet requires a different food you may bring it for your pet.
All pets in our care are monitored daily for eating, drinking, urinating, and defecating. Should your pet appear to need medical assistance, we will attempt to contact you for further instructions. All medical expenses are the responsibility of the pet owner.
Each pet must have proof of current immunizations administered by a veterinarian. For dogs this includes distemper, parvo, corona virus, bordetella, and rabies. For cats this includes distemper, feline leukemia, and rabies. We will require you pet have a physical exam with one of our staff veterinarians once yearly to check them for any current medical conditions so that we can be aware of them while boarding.
We will also perform a flea and tick check when you pet is admitted to the boarding facility. If any signs of fleas or ticks are found, we will give Capstar and apply Advantage at the owner's expense.
We will administer any medications brought from home. Medications are administered as perscribed, for a fee.
